CITY OF WINCHESTER, KENTUCKY
RESOLUTION NO. R2002-10
A RESOLUTION STATING POLICY WITH REGARD TO
THE CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGES, CULVERTS,
AND HEADWALLS WITHIN THE CITY OF WINCHESTER
WHEREAS, The City of Winchester, in reconstructing the Bonnie Brook Bridge, has
established a design standard for the façade of such structures; and
WHEREAS, The Board of Commissioners wishes to state as a matter of public policy
that similar or equal design standards will be applied throughout the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT AS BRIDGES, CULVERTS, AND HEADWALLS AND/OR WING WALLS ASSOCIATED WITH BRIDGE AND CULVERT PROJECTS ARE CONSTRUCTED OR RECONSTRUCTED AS A CITY PROJECT, THAT A FAÇADE COVERING PATTERN, SIMILAR OR EQUIVALENT TO THE BONNIE BROOK BRIDGE DESIGN WILL BE CONSTRUCTED IF FEASIBLE.
Introduced and adopted at a meeting of the Winchester Board of Commissioners of the City of Winchester, Kentucky, held on the 10TH__ day of DECEMBER __, 2002.
